Study, design, construction, supply and installation of equipment, and temporary operation and maintenance of the dam, including complementary works, conveyance system, and bypass to the Bosconia Water Treatment Plant (Component 1), for the Tona River regulation project – Bucaramanga Reservoir. Key characteristics: The dam will have a height of 103 m. It will store a volume of 17.6 million cubic meters of water. It will regulate a flow of 1,000 L/s, equivalent to approximately three months of consumption. It will include a Water Treatment Plant with a capacity of 1,200 L/s. Location: The Tona River Dam and its associated works for the Bucaramanga Reservoir will be located 12 km from the urban area of Bucaramanga, approximately 600 m upstream of the confluence of the Tona and Suratá rivers, at a site known as Puente Tona, along the Bucaramanga–Matanza road.
